Leading Causes of Unintentional Deaths for the US and Charlotte Area

According to Injury Facts, 2008 Edition, unintentional-injury deaths increased 2% in 2006 compared to 2005. In 2006, 120,000 unintentional-injury deaths were recorded compared to 118,000 in 2005.

The need for CPR and First Aid training is higher than ever before in order to prevent these numbers from rising higher.

Statistics also show that unintential deaths from falling as well as poisoning have increased considerably.
